How Bagsy works
Make a list
Sign in to the same Bagsy account you use in the app, or create a free account. Choose New list for a birthday, Christmas, a wedding or anything else. Choose For me to hide bought marks from yourself, or For someone else to coordinate purchases. You can change this in list settings. Save an item using a shop link or enter the details yourself.
Save now, organise later
Inbox is your private place for ideas. Paste a message with multiple links to save them as separate items, then open an item and move it to a list.
Invite your people
Open your list and choose Share. Copy the invitation link into a message. Recipients see your display name and list title before signing in. They can sign in, join and see the list on any device. No iPhone is needed.
Mark a gift as bought
On a shared list, choose an item and select Mark as bought. Other members see that it is taken. On personal wish lists the owner cannot see bought marks. On For someone else lists, the owner can see them too. You can undo your own mark if plans change. Please still buy the gift at the shop.
Why can’t I see a photo?
Uploaded photos currently stay private to the list owner. Shared members can still see the name, notes, price and shop link. Some shops block imports, so you may need to enter details or add a photo yourself.
Accounts and passwords
Use the same sign-in option you used in the app. Continue with Apple and Continue with Google work on the website too. For an email account, use Forgot password on the sign-in screen and enter the code sent to your inbox.
Remove someone from a list
Open Share → Manage people to remove a member. Disabling invitations only prevents new joins. If you remove a person, create a fresh invitation after disabling existing links so they cannot use an old link to rejoin.
Delete your account
Open Account → Delete account and confirm. Your owned lists, items and photos are permanently removed. Cancel any Apple subscription separately.
Install the website
Use your browser’s Install app or Add to Home Screen option for quick access. An internet connection is needed to load and save your lists.
